Status Updates:
  • March 20, 3:56 p.m. - MOTI has advised that the construction works planned for Highway 99 at the Fountain (Ten Mile) Slide area have been delayed. The temporary closures will now take place between April 5 - April 29, 2017, with closures occurring Monday to Saturday. The road will be closed from 7 am - 11 am and again from 1 pm - 5 pm daily, Monday through Saturday.

Status Updates:
  • February 8 - 4:45 a.m. - The snowfall warning issued yesterday has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning. Hazardous winter conditions are expected. Heavy snow is expected to begin tonight through Thursday, with 24-hour snowfall amounts of 50 - 70 cm expected. Road closures are possible. Please consider avoiding non-essential travel until the severe weather subsides.
