Sunstone Ridge Neighbourhood Concept Plan

The SLRD has received an application from the Sunstone Ridge Group to amend the Area C Official Community Plan to facilitate the development of a new neighbourhood known as "Sunstone Ridge". The Sunstone Ridge Group is a consortium of three landowners who are working together to create a comprehensive neighbourhood plan.

The subject land is situated between the Village of Pemberton and Mount Currie on the south-facing slopes on the north side of the Lillooet River Valley. The area encompasses approx. 400 ha of land, currently located in Electoral Area C.  However, the land is subject to a boundary expansion application by the Village of Pemberton.  View subject property map:

The Build-out for the Development is 30 years and the approximate number of units will be between 2100 and 2500.

EARLY AND ONGOING CONSULTATION

The SLRD is undertaking early consultation with the public and stakeholders to gain initial feed-back on the proposal.

SLRD Receives Electoral Area C Amenity Density Funds

The Squamish Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) is pleased to announce it received funds in the amount of $2.84 million, of which $2.49 million is part of the Amenity Density provisions for the Wedge Woods development, and $350,000 is part of the park dedication package.

As of May 1st the Pemberton Waste & Recycling Centre will have new hours of operation. A notice has been sent out to residents with tipping fee and recycling information.
