SLRD Emergency Operations Centre
The SLRD Emergency Operations Centre is activated at Level 2. An Evacuation Alert is issued in Electoral Area C for the Signal Hill Wildfire near Pemberton and an Evacuation Order near Poole Creek and Gates Lake for the Place Glacier Outburst Hazard. In Electoral Area B there is an Evacuation Alert for the Pear Lake Wildfire (C40983). We are aware of and monitoring other fires in Electoral Area C closely with BCWS that currently do not pose a threat; Cayoosh Mountain (K70889) and Two Twin Creek (V30941).

The SLRD includes four Electoral Areas and the District of Lillooet, Village of Pemberton, Resort Municipality of Whistler and District of Squamish.
