Recreation Services

The SLRD Recreation Services Department is a sub-regional service funded by SLRD Electoral C and the Village of Pemberton. The department is overseen by the Pemberton Valley Utilities & Services Committee of the SLRD Board and is responsible for the operation of the following facilities:

• Pemberton & District Community Centre
• Pemberton & District Youth/Seniors Centre
• Pemberton Fields
• Gates Lake Community Park

The SLRD also provides funding to the following recreation and culture services:

• Area A Community Facilities
• Heritage and Museums
• Libraries
• Lillooet R.E.C. Centre
• Parks & Trails
• Squamish Community Pool
