A Regular Meeting of the Electoral Area Directors (EAD) Committee will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the SLRD Administration Building, 1350 Aster Street, Pemberton, BC (the “Meeting Location”).
The meeting agenda will be posted on the SLRD website at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
Talon Helicopters will be performing low level flying with LaSen Inc. for FortisBC between July 11, 2022 and August 31, 2022 during daylight hours, per Special Authorization issued by Transport Canada.
The work is FortisBC’s annual inspection of its high-pressure natural gas lines. The aim is to detect small issues so they can prevent larger problems and make sure its system continues to operate safely.
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) is seeking interest from qualified persons with the appropriate certifications, experience and expertise for the provision of FireSmart Project Coordinator and Local FireSmart Representative services within eacho f the SLRD's four electoral areas.

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) Board of Directors is deeply saddened by the passing of David Rittberg, former Chief of the Britannia Beach Volunteer Fire Department (BBVFD).
Mr. Rittberg served on the BBVFD from 2007 – 2021, spending the last five years as Fire Chief, before retiring in 2021 and turning over the reigns of the department to his longtime colleague, Rob Nicholls, who had previously served as Deputy Fire Chief.
The Squamish Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) invites Proponents from qualified fire apparatus manufacturers to supply and deliver up to two Quint Aerial Fire Apparatus for the Britannia Beach Volunteer Fire Department (BBVFD).
Proposals must be received by the SLRD in electronic form on or before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
Britannia Beach water system users will experience water service interruptions due to water service repairs.
The contractor will be on site to complete the work from 9 am to 5 pm on Thursday, May 26.

A special meeting of the Sea to Sky Regional Hospital District (SSRHD) Board will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the SLRD Administration Building: 1350 Aster Street Pemberton, BC.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider agenda items that would be otherwise considered at the May 25, 2022 Regular Meeting of hte SSRHD Board - which has been cancelled due to scheduling issues. Specifically, the Special Meeting agenda items are as follows:

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) was notified of commercial filming taking place in Electoral Area D which has since been relocated to Watt's Point Lumber Yard - 4731 BC 99 Highway, Britannia Beach (May 24) and Minaty Bay - 27154 Sea to Sky Highway (May 25,26,27,30,31 and June 1). All Trucks and filming for both locations will be on Private Property.
Filming is no longer taking place at the Queen of Peace Monastery Meadow 1021 Cloudburst Cres. in Brackendale/ Garibaldi Highlands. Between May 17 and May 24.
