The Electoral Area Directors (EAD) Committee meetings are generally held on the 2nd Monday of every month (excluding statutory holidays) at 10:30 a.m., to discuss planning issues, grants-in-aid, and other topics. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
Meetings are held in the SLRD Boardroom, 1350 Aster Street, Pemberton, unless otherwise indicated.
Britannia Beach film shoot: March 24 & 25
Please be advised that film crews will be working in and around Britannia Beach on Monday, March 24th and Tuesday, March 25th. Permits have been granted through the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI).
Monday, March 24th
Location #1: Britannia Beach Fire Hall
Details: Work trucks will be parked along the north side of copper drive across from the Hall. Most of the work will take place inside the hall except for some green screen work which will take place just outside the Hall on the lot.

Community Consultation: Sea to Sky Transit
BC Transit, in collaboration with local area partners including the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD), District of Squamish, the Village of Pemberton, the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW), Lil'wat Nation and the Squamish Nation, is developing a 25 year Transit Future Plan for the region.
The Sea to Sky Transit Future Plan development team will be conducting a series of open houses and stakeholder meetings throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor this spring.
Your input will play an important role in what the transit system could look like in 25 years.

Electoral Area D contains some of the most stunning and diverse scenery in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District. It includes three oceanfront communities: Porteau Cove, Furry Creek and Britannia Beach, all of which host spectacular views of the Strait of Georgia and the forested islands that dot Howe Sound.
