The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District is seeking expressions of interest from motivated and environmentally aware individuals to deliver education and outreach activities related to composting, recycling and residual waste management.

The position will work together with the Project Coordinator and the Resource Recovery Coordinator on education and outreach activities which will focus on waste reduction, recycling education and landfill diversion. This will include delivering public outreach Pop-Up Depots, hosting booths at public events and organizing logistics for all events and activities (booking, set-up and tear down).

This proposal is for outreach in the communities of Lillooet, Gold Bridge and Bralorne (Electoral Areas A and B).

The contract will commence at the beginning of June, 2023 to October, 2023 (20 weeks).
