Request for Proposals: FireSmart Vegetation Management on Residential Properties

The SLRD, in partnership with the District of Lillooet (DOL), has received grant funds in the amount of $250,000 from the Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM) Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) to be used for FireSmart vegetation management on participating residential properties of residents aged 65+ located within SLRD Electoral Area A, SLRD Electoral Area B and the DOL.

Consequently, the SLRD is requesting Proposals from qualified professionals possessing appropriate qualifications, training and experience to carry out this work in accordance with the specific recommendations that will be provided through FireSmart Home Ignition Zone Assessments. Separately, the SLRD has contracted a FireSmart Coordinator who will conduct the Home Ignition Zone Assessments and coordinate an appropriate time for this vegetation management work to be completed at each  participating residential property.
