In 2016, the SLRD was awarded a grant of $1,999,530 from the federal Gas Tax Strategic Priorities Fund to replace the failing Bralorne Sewer System and add secondary treatment. However, since the grant application was submitted in April 2015, costs have increased beyond the available grant award, and the project now faces a significant funding shortfall.

The SLRD has been exploring various options to address the shortfall, and is hosting this meeting to share information and discuss the options for moving forward to deliver this vital community infrastructure project.
