A Special Meeting of the Northern Economic Development & Initiatives (NEDI) Committee will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 9:00 AM at the SLRD Administration Building, 1350 Aster Street, Pemberton, BC (the “Meeting Location”).

The general purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider the agenda items from the previously-cancelled January 13, 2022 NEDI Committee Regular Meeting as well as any additional agenda items needing consideration.

The meeting agenda will be posted on the SLRD website (https://www.slrd.bc.ca/inside-slrd/meetings-agendas) at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.

The meeting will be conducted by means of electronic or other communications facilities at the Meeting Location.  Except for any part of the meeting that is closed to the public, the electronic or other communications facilities will enable the public:

• to hear, or watch and hear, the meeting; and
• to hear, or watch and hear, the meeting at the Meeting Location.

Livestreaming of the meeting (and an on-demand recording of the meeting) will be available on the SLRD website (https://www.slrd.bc.ca/inside-slrd/meetings-agendas/watch-meetings).

The SLRD’s Communicable Disease Prevention Plan Policy is in effect. Due to physical distancing requirements and available space, public attendance may be limited. Everyone attending the meeting is required to wear a mask.

In addition, by recent order of the Provincial Health Officer, the SLRD’s COVID-19 Safety Plan is currently in effect.  Due to physical distancing requirements and available space in the SLRD Boardroom, public attendance may be limited. Anyone attending the meeting is required to wear a mask.  At this time, the SLRD encourages virtual attendance of Board and Committee meetings.
