As temperatures continue to rise this week - local governments and First Nations groups are working to ensure residents have a place to cool off. Cooling centres will now be offered in the following locations.
District of Squamish
- Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- Tuesday though Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The following are not official cooling centres, but the Village of Pemberton is encouraging residents to take advantage of the following spaces to cool off:

- Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
The Pemberton and District Community Centre

- Saturday 8am until 5pm and closed Sunday.
The Pemberton and District Community Centre Spray Park
