Environment Canada ends Wind Warning for Howe Sound

Current details:

Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring. A deep low pressure system is approaching the South Coast this evening. Winds will rise to southeast 70 to 90 km/h over the outer coast of Vancouver Island overnight and through much of the inner South Coast including the Victoria area early Thursday morning.

Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to pacificstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #BCStorm.
