Evacuation ALERT RESCINDED - Yalakom Valley - Electoral Area B

Based on consultation with the British Columbia Wildfire Service, the SLRD has assessed that potential danger to life and health due to the Casper Creek wildfire has subsided to the degree that the current Evacuation Alert is no longer required.

Effective September 8, 2023 at 1600 hrs, the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has rescinded the Evacuation Alert applying to the following area:    

• All SLRD properties in the Yalakom Valley area
• Any other SLRD properties located within the boundary noted on the included map.

An Evacuation Order remains in place for the Mission Mountain area and an Evacuation Alert in the Seton Portage Area.
