If you have been evacuated from your home due to the current wildfire situation in B.C., the Canadian Red Cross can help in a number of ways.

If you are an evacuee and haven't done so already, click the link below to register with the Red Cross. You can also register by calling the toll-free number 1-800-863-6582.

Register with the Canadian Red Cross

Download the registration information PDF here

This registration allows the Red Cross to ensure all evacuees are accounted for, reunite families who may have become separated, and communicate important information regarding assistance.

The Red Cross can provide assistance while you are away from your home, when you return, and as you and your community recover and resettle following an evacuation. Download the information form here.

If you are in an area currently placed on an Evacuation Alert, you do not need to register, but please note this information so you can quickly be connected with assistance if you do need to evacuate.

And if you haven't already, don't forget to register with SLRD Alert, a free emergency notification system that enables the SLRD to communicate important information quickly in the event of emergencies.
