Construction of the parking lot expansion at the Gates Lake Community Park is complete, apart from some finishing touches, and the new and improved parking lot is now open again.
The expanded parking lot has been designed to provide safer access and egress, to accommodate more vehicles, and feature designated parking for recreational vehicles.
Construction commenced Monday August 10.
Progress from Day One:
On Monday, August 10, the crew completed all the stump removal and brush clearing for the expanded parking. Tuesday saw trucking away of the brush and stumps, and layout and grading of the parking lots.
