Tipping fees at the Pemberton Transfer Station will increase, as of November 1, 2022.

The proposed Pemberton Transfer Station Fees and Charges Regulation bylaw presented at the July 14, 2022 Pemberton Valley Utilities and Services (PVUS) Committee meeting was subsequently approved by the SLRD Board on July 27, 2022.

The Pemberton Transfer Station tipping fees were last increased in 2016. The 2022 bylaw revision includes updated definitions and adjustments to the fees and charges that more accurately reflect current costs and service levels, aligning with the disposal costs across the region and encouraging diversion.

The Pemberton Transfer Station Fees and Charges Regulation Bylaw No. 1779-2022 will be available on the SLRD website as of November 1, 2022.
