Remembrance Day Ceremonies in the SLRD

Each year, communities gather at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month to stand in honour and to observe a moment of silence to mark the sacrifice of the many who have fallen in service of their country and to acknowledge the courage of those who still serve. 

Please note the following Remembrance Day ceremonies within the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District:

Electoral Area/ Municipality


Electoral Area A: Gold Bridge/ Bralorne

Ceremony begins at the Gold Bridge Cenotaph (Gold Bridge Cemetery) followed by a tea and luncheon at the Gold Bridge Hotel and Pub.

Parade starts at the Legion and ends at the cenotaph, where the ceremony will take place. This will be followed by a potluck at the Legion, located at 737 Main Street. For more information, visit the Lillooet Legion's Facebook page.


Parade assembles at the fire hall at 10:30 a.m. and departs at 10:45 a.m. for the ceremony at the Legion, followed by a light lunch. For more information, contact:
