The Trans Canada Trail has been rebranded as The Great Trail and, with funding support from Trans Canada Trail, the Sea to Sky Trail has been updated with new Great Trail signs.
Trans Canada Trail supported this project with $950 for the installation of signage, along with in-kind support by providing the cobranded signage.
The Sea to Sky Trail, a part of the Great Trail which spans Canada, begins at the Squamish waterfront and runs north through the Sea to Sky Corridor to Pemberton, linking the Pacific Ocean in the south to the snow-capped Coast Mountains to the north. The non-motorized, multi-use trail is open year-round for activities such as walking, running, hiking or biking in the summer, and snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in the winter.
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District is grateful to Trans Canada Trail for this contribution, which will help guide users along this highly popular trail.
