The SLRD is seeking elector approval to borrow up to $700,000 to complete the Bralorne Wastewater Treatment System Upgrade. The process of obtaining elector approval is via an Assent Vote (referendum) to borrow up to $700,000 and to raise the maximum annual tax requisition amount to pay off the loan. General voting day for the Assent Vote is January 26, 2019 (in Gold Bridge), with advance voting on January 16, 2019 (in Gold Bridge) and on January 21, 2019 (in Pemberton).
Resident electors and non-resident property electors of the Bralorne Sewer Service Area are invited to attend a community meeting, regarding the project, with SLRD staff:
- January 15, 2019
- 6 p.m.
- Bralorne Fire Hall (3155 Pioneer Road, Gold Bridge, BC.)
Due to technical limitations at the meeting location, there will be no call-in access to the meeting. However, Ed Witwicki, Senior Engineering Technologist, will be available via conference call from the SLRD administration office in Pemberton at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 to share the presentation and answer questions for those not able to attend the community meeting in person.
