Public Hearing: Area A Keir rezoning application and medical marihuana regulations

A public hearing will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday October 23, 2014 at the Gold Bridge Community Club, 699 Gun Lake West Road, Gold Bridge, BC.

This public hearing will consider the following bylaws:

1. Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Upper Bridge River Valley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 608, 1996, Amendment Bylaw No. 1309-2014: The purpose of Bylaw No. 1309-2014 is to address the Federal legislation changes regarding medical marihuana.  The bylaw will create a Development Permit Area for Form & Character that will provide some regulation on the architecture and landscaping aspects for medical marihuana production facilities.
2. Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Zoning Bylaw No. 670, 1999, Amendment Bylaw No. 1282-2013: The purpose of Bylaw No. 1282-2013  is to amend Bylaw No. 670, which currently applies to Electoral Area A & B, so that Bylaw No. 670 would apply to Area A only.  It also includes housekeeping changes and incorporates medical marihuana regulations in order to address the Federal legislation changes.
3. Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Upper Bridge River Valley Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 608, 1996, Amendment Bylaw No. 1347-2014: The purpose of Bylaw No. 1347-2014 is to  redesignate several lots from Commercial to Residential as part of the Keir rezoning application for several parcels on Gun Lake.
4. Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Zoning Bylaw No. 670, 1999, Amendment Bylaw No. 1348-2014: The purpose of Bylaw No. 1348-2014 is to rezone the subject lots from Commercial (C4), Rural Resource (RR2) to Residential (R2 & R5) as part of the Keir rezoning application for several parcels on Gun Lake. The parcels covered by Bylaws 1347 & 1348 are: PID 013-302-361; PID 013-302-388; & PID 013-431-102.
