Gold Bridge water system users will experience water service interruptions due to a water system infrastructure repair. The contractor will be on site to complete the repair on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 between 9:00am to 6:00pm.
When the water is turned back on, residents may experience the following:
- Water pressure may be temporarily reduced.
- Temporary discoloration of water (in this case, run the water for five to 10 minutes until it clears).
A boil water advisory is in effect.
All users are advised to boil their water before using it for drinking, cooking, washing food, or brushing teeth, due to temporary transition to the back up water source (Sucker Creek).
The water can be made safe by boiling it for one minute at a rolling boil. Boiled water should be stored in a clean container in the refrigerator.
Alternatively, bottled water can be used.
Gold Bridge water system users will be notified when the water advisory is lifted.
