Please be advised that the television production, “Six” will be filming scenes in SLRD Area B and SLRD Area C from July 17 – 19, 2017.
Monday, July 17
7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (SLRD Area B: Duffey Lake Road/Highway 99)
Travelers along the Duffey Lake Road (Highway 99) should expect intermittent traffic control throughout the day in the vicinity of Duffey Lake. Please expect minor delays and obey the instructions of traffic personnel. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Environment (BC Parks) have issued, or intends to issue, permits for the production.
The production will include filming of vehicle scenes along the Duffey Lake Road as well as filming of helicopters above Duffey Lake / Duffey Lake Road.
Filming may also take place on Tuesday, July 18.
3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Van Loon Farm (9302 Pemberton Meadows Road)
Filming will take place on private property as well as along the dyke and will include the use of a helicopter, small cars and prop guns.
Tuesday, July 18 – Wednesday, July 19
7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. (SLRD Area C: Van Loon Farm - 9302 Pemberton Meadows Road, Lillooet Forest Service Road)
Filming will take place on private property, along the dyke, and on the Lillooet Forest Service Road (FSR) and will include the use of a helicopter, small cars and prop guns. Travelers along the Lillooet FSR should expect intermittent traffic control throughout the day. Please expect minor delays of no more than 5 minutes, and obey the instructions of traffic personnel. The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations is aware of the production, and has approved the use of the FSR given the relatively light use of the road, and minimal impact to road users.
The RCMP, Pemberton Fire Rescue, Pemberton Valley Dyking District, and neighbouring property owners have been notified.
