Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Howe Sound.
Strong outflow winds gusting to 90 km/h will develop late Friday as Arctic air pushes southwards across the South Coast. Reduced visibilities in blowing snow can also be expected locally.
The strong winds will persist on Saturday.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
