The 2022 General Local Elections will take place in B.C. on Saturday, October 15, 2022. This includes elections for the SLRD’s four electoral areas (Area A, Area B, Area C and Area D).
Qualified electors in each of the SLRD’s electoral areas will elect one person to the position of Director for a four-year mandate. (In the event that there is only one person declared as a candidate in an electoral area by the end of the nomination period, that person will be acclaimed as Director in that electoral area.)
