The SLRD received a Temporary Use Permit (TUP) Application proposing a one-day fundraiser event for up to 300 people. The proposed fundraising event is in support of the Rise & Shine Foundation, which helps pay for deserving kids to join in on Jay DeMerit’s soccer camps and other programming. The application is for a three-year term as the intention is for the fundraiser to be an annual event, and it will only involve the portion of the Subject Property outside the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR). Adherence to the Electoral Area C Noise Regulation Bylaw No. 1438 is required. As such, noise is prohibited past 11pm. A Special Event Permit (SEP) application will also be required.

TUP No. 51 was issued by the SLRD Board at the April 19, 2017 meeting.
