Lillooet Landfill Tipping Fees Bylaw Update
Effective March 1, 2017 – Compost and wood chips for sale. Clean fill accepted with administrator approval, changes to gypsum (drywall) acceptance procedures.
Gold Bridge Transfer Station CLOSED: January 19
The Gold Bridge Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday January 19, 2017, due to icy conditions.
A layer of ice has formed on the transfer station driveway and apron as a result of a warm tropical system moving through southwestern BC. Due to icy conditions throughout the Bridge River Area, the SLRD has not been able to arrange sanding of the transfer station prior to opening at 10:00. The Gold Bridge Transfer Station will reopen on Sunday January 22 at 10:00.

Bralorne Sewer update - Summary of January 5 Information Meeting
On Thursday, January 5, 2017, senior staff from the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District and the lead consultant for the Bralorne Sewer System Upgrade, hosted a Community Information Meeting in Bralorne, to update the community on the $1,999,530.00 project to replace Bralorne’s wastewater infrastructure.

Controlled Burn at Lillooet Landfill – Thursday March 24
Please be advised that a controlled burn will take place at the Lillooet Landfill on March 24, 2016.
The burn takes place on an annual basis and is necessary to remove material disposed of in the designated burn pile area. All necessary safety precautions will be taken, including having extra staff and a water truck on site. The burn will go ahead only under good atmospheric conditions, as determined by the provincial ventilation index.
Please be aware that a large smoke plume emanating from the landfill may be visible when the burn is conducted.
Recycling Transporter for Devine Transfer Station
The SLRD is seeking a motivated, flexible individual to transport the recyclables from the Devine Transfer Station to Pemberton on a monthly basis. The applicant should have a reliable, insured, vehicle and/or trailer large enough to transport full bags of recyclables.
