Haylmore Heritage Property

The Haylmore Heritage Property is a Heritage Site designated by a bylaw of the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District. It is the site of the cabin, mine recording office and placer mine originally belonging to Will Haylmore, one of the original surveyors in the Bridge River Valley.

The site is open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. from May long weekend through until the end of September. Staff will be available to provide some heritage interpretation. The site is also home to a Tourism Information Booth (open during operating hours), and there will also be locally produced artisan's wares available for sale.

A Statement of Significance for the site has recently been completed. Additionally, efforts have been made to clear the land of scrap metal that has been illegally dumped.
