The purpose of the Plan Monitoring Advisory Committee (PMAC) is to monitor the implementation of the Solid Waste and Resource Management Plan and report directly to the Regional Board.
The goal of the PMAC is to ensure the ongoing evaluation, assessment, implementation and updates and/or amendments to the actions and policies outlined in the SWRMP.
Meetings are held on an as needed basis, roughly 2 meetings per year. They are held in Pemberton or virtually and are open to the public.

Call for volunteers
Interested residents and businesses can volunteer to serve on the Solid Waste and Resource Management Plan Monitoring Advisory Committee.
Applicants should:
- Be a permanent resident and/or business of the SLRD
- Have an interest and understanding of solid waste management in B.C.
- Be available to commit to three (3) daytime meetings per year, for a 2-year term. Meetings are typically 3 to 4 hours.
