All Seton Valley community members are strongly encouraged to attend to learn more about:
- What fire crews are doing to fight the fire, and what you can do to prepare your property in case the fire gets closer.
- What an Evacuation Alert means, and what you should do if Seton Valley is put on Evacuation Alert, including leaving and re-entering the Alert area and other topics.
- What an Evacuation Order means, and what you should do if an Evacuation Order is declared for Seton Valley, including leaving and re-entering the Evacuated area, assistance to evacuate if you don’t have transport or if you have medical needs, caring for animals and other topics.
Representatives from the BC Wildfire Service, SLRD Emergency Program, Tsal'alh and the RCMP will be present; Stl'atl'imx Tribal Police and the BC Conservation Office have been invited to attend as well.
