SLRD Regional Growth Strategy Bylaw No. 1062, 2008, Amendment Bylaw No. 1356-2014

The Regional Growth Strategy (RGS) is a long-term strategic planning document, used to guide local government Official Community Plans and bylaws in regards to future growth in the SLRD. The RGS presents a 20-year vision for the livability of the region; it identifies and prioritizes goals across the region to meet common social, economic, and environmental objectives. It addresses regional issues such as land use, transportation, housing, economic development, social issues, ecological stewardship, parks and natural areas, and regional services.
