Request for Proposals: Sea to Sky Inter-Regional Transit Stops

Closing Date

The SLRD, in coordination with BC Transit and the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MoTT), is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms for the design of regional transit stop infrastructure along the Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99) corridor within the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, in Electoral Areas C and D.

The scope of this Project is to identify appropriate stop locations, design each stop, prepare construction cost estimates, identify the permits and approvals required for construction, identify applicable grant and financial assistance programs, and compile relevant construction standards — all in coordination with BC Transit and MoTT, with each stop design approved in principle by both agencies before being finalized.

Proponents must submit a solution that meets the full scope of the Project as described below. If teaming is required to meet the objectives outlined in this RFP, firms are encouraged to form partnerships. The Proposal must clearly identify the Prime Consultant who will be responsible for the overall performance of the Contract, including the performance of any subcontractors.
