The SLRD Board proclaimed the week of October 15- 21, 2018 as Waste Reduction Week in the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District.
Waste Reduction Week (WRW) in Canada is a national environmental campaign that builds awareness around issues of sustainable and responsible consumption, encourages choice for more environmentally responsible products/services, and promotes actions that divert more waste from disposal and conserve natural resource.
Show your commitment to and celebrate WRW by discovering new ideas to reduce waste and by participating in events happening across the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District.
