Evacuation Order Expanded in Electoral Area B for the Pear Lake Wildfire (C40983)
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has issued an Expanded Evacuation Order for properties in Electoral Area B due to the Pear Lake Wildfire (C40983), based on a recommendation from the BC Wildfire Service.
The Expanded Evacuation Order replaces the Evacuation Alert previously in effect for these properties. Anyone in the Evacuation Order area must leave immediately.
YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY
EVACUATE SOUTH-WEST TOWARDS LILLOOET OR SOUTH-EAST TOWARDS KAMLOOPS VIA HWY 99.
NOTE: THE VILLAGE OF CLINTON IS CURRENTLY ON EVACUATION ORDER. DO NOT GO TO THE VILLAGE OF CLINTON.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
• If this is not your primary residence, you should return to your primary residence, if you are able to do so.
• Accommodation in the area is limited. Make arrangements to stay with family and friends, if possible.
• Preregister for Emergency Support Services online at: https://ess.gov.bc.ca/

• Gather your family and, if you have room, take a neighbour or someone needing transportation.
• Take critical items (medicine, purse, wallet, and keys) only if they are immediately available. Take pets in pet kennels or on a leash.
