Connecting with the SLRD during Canada Post strike

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) recognizes that the Canadian Union of Postal Workers’ (CUPW) national strike has implications for invoices, payments and other items typically processed through the mail system.

To avoid delay in submitting payments, the SLRD encourages residents to pay SLRD invoices in-person, or by e-transfer. 

  • To submit payment by e-transfer: 
    • Through online banking, set up the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District as a recipient, using this email address: ar@slrd.bc.ca and include the invoice number and any other pertinent information in the message section.
  • To submit payment in person:
    • Visit the SLRD administration office at 1350 Aster Street in Pemberton, BC between the office hours of 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (Note: the office is closed daily between 1-2 p.m. for lunch and on Statutory holidays.)
    • Vendors and suppliers are encouraged to submit invoices electronically, or in person.

To apply for a building permit, and provide supporting documents, please use Cloudpermit, the SLRD’s online system. 

For all other forms and documents, please seek delivery option alternatives including:

  • In-person at the SLRD Administration Office, located at 1350 Aster Street in Pemberton, B.C.
  • By email to: info@slrd.bc.ca 
  • By courier

For suppliers receiving cheque payment from the SLRD, we do not currently offer payment by electronic funds transfer (EFT), but we are currently reviewing options for implementing EFT payments with our suppliers and will notify suppliers when this service is available. We apologize for this inconvenience and any delays that may result, and appreciate your patience.
