BC Hydro has advised the SLRD of a planned power outage affecting the communities of Gold Bridge and Bralorne and the surrounding areas in Electoral Area A.
The outage is necessary for pole replacement in the area. The outage will occur at 8 a.m. Monday, June 24 until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25.
BC Hydro reminds residents to prepare for the outage by taking the following steps:
- BEFORE the outage begins, turn off electronic heaters, major appliances and unplug sensitive electronics to protect them from damage. If you rely on electric medical equipment or access doors, have a plan to maintain use.
