BC Hydro has notified the SLRD that they will be conducting heli-logging work at Terzaghi Dam along Mission Mountain Road (see Figure 1 in the notice attached). This work is critical to BC Hydro's operations.
What You Need to Know
Where: Mission Mountain to Terzaghi Dam
Flight Path: Crossing Mission Mountain Road to and from Terzaghi Dam
When: Mid-April to mid-May 2025
Working Hours: 7 days a week, approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What to Expect:
- Delays and periodic road closures on Mission Mountain Road to Shalalth (See Figure 2 in the notice attached)
- Traffic control flaggers are stationed along Mission Mountain Road between Terzaghi Dam and Shalalth.
- Trucks are turning in and out of the construction site access road along Road 40 at Terzaghi Dam.
- Multiple helicopters are conducting heli-logging operations on Mission Mountain.

- A Traffic Management Plan has been developed in consultation with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to ensure public safety.
