Trail remains closed due to wildlife - Area C / Pemberton

Adventure Ranch Horse Trails: The Adventure Ranch horse trails along the Valley Loop Trail system remain closed since the initial notice on December 12, 2024. There is a bear overwintering in a den near the trails. 

There are two trails running parallel to each other in this closed section. Please avoid the area and do not use either trail from the Lillooet River Bridge entrance to the entrance off Airport Road (see map below). It is important that walkers, especially those with dogs, are not using this section of the trail. The trails will be closed until further notice - please obey all posted signage. Signage will be removed when the bear is no longer active or overwintering in this area.
