Based on consultation with the British Columbia Wildfire Service, the SLRD has assessed that potential danger to life and health due to the Casper Creek wildfire has subsided to the degree that the current Evacuation Alert is no longer required in some areas.

Effective September 12th, 2023 at 1200 hrs, the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District has rescinded the Evacuation Alert applying to the following areas:

• All SLRD Properties in the Mission Mountain Road area.
• Any other SLRD properties located within the boundary noted on the attached map.
