Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the Emergency Program Act, an Evacuation Order has been issued by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District due to immediate danger to life safety caused by the K71535 Casper Creek wildfire burning out of control in the Seton Portage area.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and other applicable agencies will be expediting this action.

This Evacuation Order includes the following SLRD properties and all areas as outlined on the attached map.

  • 9200 Mission Mountain Road
  • DISTRICT LOT 951 SHOWN ON PLAN CG 28 LILLOOET DISTRICT EXCEPT: (1) PARCEL A (DD 131960F) (2) PART 6.02 ACRE PORTION INCLUDED IN PLAN A1842 (3) PLANS 42546, KAP45561, KAP92257, EPP24824 AND EPP25334
  • THOSE PORTIONS OF DISTRICT LOT 951 SHOWN ON PLAN CG 28 LILLOOET
  • DISTRICT INCLUDED WITHIN A 6.02 ACRE PORTION ON PLAN A1842
  • DISTRICT LOT 2423 LILLOOET DISTRICT
  • DISTRICT LOT 5390 LILLOOET DISTRICT EXCEPT PLAN 15837
  • LOT 1 DISTRICT LOT 5390 LILLOOET DISTRICT PLAN 15837

YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

  • If this is not your primary residence, you should return to your primary residence, if you are able to do so.
  • Accommodation in the area is limited. Make arrangements to stay with family and friends, if possible.
  • If emergency accommodations or transportation assistance is required, please contact the
  • SLRD EOC-ESS Director at 604-698-9812
  • Shut off all gas and electrical appliances other than refrigerators and freezers.
  • Close all windows and doors. Close gates (latch) but do not lock.
  • Gather your family and, if you have room, take a neighbour or someone needing transportation. Do not use more vehicles than you have to.
  • Take critical items (medicine, purse, wallet, and keys) only if they are immediately available. Take pets in pet kennels or on a leash.
