Notice of Operational Fuel Management Treatment - Evans Lake

The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) has been notified of operational fuel treatment adjacent to Evans Lake Forest Education Society camp, located off the Levette Lake Forest Service Road.

This work will take place in February and March, 2024, beginning on February 27, 2024.

Smoke will be present in the area during pile burning.

Work to remove excess surface fuels reduces wildfire occurrence, severity and spread and permits better access for crews responding to wildfires.
