Thursday, October 19 until Friday, October 20, 2023, Pemberton North Water System users may notice some discolouration of water as a result of water main flushing.

Residents are advised to run their water until it is clear before using.

Water main flushing is an important part of water distribution maintenance as it aids in the improvement of water quality.

Flushing involves isolating a section of the water distribution system and opening hydrants to release water at a high flow rate. The increased water flow aids in the removal of material that has built up over time in water.
