Rainfall warning continued for: Howe Sound, B.C.

Current details:
Rain, at times heavy, continues. Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 70 mm are expected for Howe Sound and near the North Shore Mountains today due to a slow moving Pacific frontal system. The rain will taper to a few showers this evening when the front moves to the east.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio. To report severe weather, send an email to pacificstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #BCStorm.
