Pemberton & District Recreation Services provides recreation, fitness and community opportunities for residents of the Village of Pemberton and SLRD Electoral Area C.
Recreation services are managed by the Village of Pemberton through an agreement with the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD).
Recreation programs and facilities
The Pemberton & District Community Centre is a hub for recreation and community activities, with fitness facilities, program and gathering spaces, and recreation opportunities for a range of ages and interests.
The Village of Pemberton manages current information about recreation programs, facilities, registration, rentals, schedules and hours.
SLRD involvement
Pemberton & District Recreation Services is a shared service involving the Village of Pemberton and SLRD Electoral Area C.
In 2019, management of the recreation service transferred from the SLRD to the Village of Pemberton. The Village is responsible for managing recreation services and staff, while the SLRD continues to participate in the shared service.
