Services
The SLRD provides funding to the following recreation and culture services:
- Area A Community Facilities
- Lillooet R.E.C. Centre
- Pemberton & District Recreation Service
- Squamish Community Pool
- Heritage and Museums
- Libraries
- Parks & Trails
Pemberton & District Recreation Service
The Pemberton & District Recreation Service is a sub-regional service funded by SLRD Electoral C and the Village of Pemberton overseen by the Pemberton Valley Utilities & Services Committee. The SLRD contributes funding for the operation of the following facilities:
- Pemberton & District Community Centre
- Pemberton & District Youth/Seniors Centre
- Pemberton Meadows Fields
- Signal Hill Fields
- Gates Lake Community Park
As of June 1, 2019 recreation services through the Pemberton & District Community Centre are now managed by the Village of Pemberton, through an agreement with the SLRD.
