Notification of Filming in Minaty Bay - Fire Country between October 6 & 17, 2025

The SLRD has been notified that a production company will be filming, Fire Country, at the Minaty Bay site, located in Area D at 27154 Sea to Sky Highway.

Dates: Between October 6 (set up) and October 20, 2025.

Additional information:

• All filming will take place on private property at Minaty Bay.
• All our scenes are daylight-dependent. 
• There will be special effects, fire, atmospheric smoke and stunts during our filming days.
• A member of the fire department will be on site during our filming days.
• We will not be impeding the highway in any way with lights or special effects smoke.
• An unmanned air vehicle (drone) will be used.
• There will be no work over the weekend. 
• There will be security watching our gear and sets for the duration while we are on the 
  property.
