Devine Transfer Station Collection Event | May 4 - 10, 2026

Thanks to a partnership between the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD), the Tire Stewardship BC, Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable (MARR) and the Pemberton Recycling Centre, tires, large appliances, electronics, small appliances, lights and power tools will be collected for recycling during the Devine Collection Event from May 4, 6 & 10, 2026.

We are excited about this year’s partnership with MARR, adding large appliances to the Collection Event.

These items can be dropped off on May 4, 6 and 10 at the Devine Transfer Station located at 9575 Pemberton Portage Road:

• Tires (all clean passenger vehicle, motorcycle and bicycle tires will be accepted);
• Electronics (list of accepted products)
• Small appliances (list of accepted products)
• Lights (list of accepted products)
• Power tools (list of accepted products)
• New in 2026! Large appliances:
  • What’s accepted (residential only – clean and empty)
    • Refrigerators
    • Freezers
    • Stoves
    • Washing machines and dryers
    • Air conditions (window and portable)
    • Dehumidifiers
    • Range hoods
    • Built-in ovens
  • Not accepted
    • Commercial and industrial appliances
    • Ammonia refrigerators (you can tell by the thicker gauge pipes)

Can’t make it to the Collection event? 

Tires are accepted at retailers and the Pemberton Transfer Station (tipping fees apply).
Large appliances are accepted at the Pemberton Transfer Station (no tipping fees). 
Electronics, small appliances, lights and power tools are accepted at the Pemberton Recycling Centre (bottle depot).
