Project Overview
The Squamish-Lillooet Regional District (SLRD) received a Form and Character, Environmental Protection, and Natural Hazards Protection Development Permit application (being processed under one Comprehensive Development Permit) for the South Britannia surf park and commercial buildings.
The Comprehensive Development Permit is anticipated to go to the SLRD Board for consideration of approval/issuance in the fall 2026.
This Development Permit application relates to Phase 1 of a larger multi-phase, mixed-use development which received Zoning and OCP Amendment Bylaw approval on May 28, 2025. More information regarding the Zoning/OCP Amendment can be viewed here.
