Tyax Real Estate Ltd. has submitted a new application to amend the zoning on the main lodge property.  The new application is to amend the Upper Bridge River Valley Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 608, and Zoning Bylaw No. 670 on a property for the purposes of allowing staff accommodation.  A combined helicopter operations and staff accommodation building is proposed to be constructed on the subject property, which is District Lot 4931, Except PLAN B3568, B5258, 35969, and KAP6763, LLD, PID 002-306-441.

OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1440-2016 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1441-2016 have been given first reading by the Board at the February 17, 2016 meeting.  Both bylaws received second reading at the April 27, 2016 Board meeting.

Public Hearing

The public hearing for OCP Amendment Bylaw No. 1440-2016 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1441-2016 has been scheduled for Thursday May 19 at 6 pm at the Gold Bridge Community Club - 699 Gun Lake West Road, Gold Bridge, BC.  The SLRD teleconference line will be available for people to call in during the public hearing.  The phone number is 1-877-385-4099 and the code is 54048#

August 20, 2014 - Previous application

Tyax Real Estate Ltd. has submitted a revised application that changes the properties involved in their original 2013 application.  The new application is to amend the Upper Bridge River Valley Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 608, and Zoning Bylaw No. 670 on a property for the purposes of allowing staff accommodation.  A multi-unit housing building is proposed to be constructed on the subject property, which is Lot 5, District Lot 4931.  The May 2014 Board report covers the revised application.

Adoption

Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1305-2014 & Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1306-2014 were both given third reading and adopted at the July 28, 2014 SLRD Board meeting.
