Electoral Area D
Overview
The SLRD is in the process of amending the Electoral Area D Zoning Bylaw No. 1135-2013. The minor amendment includes:
correcting the boundary between a residential area, zoned R1, and a tourist commercial area, zoned C1, shown on Schedule B6 of the CD 2 Zone
Current Status
As the proposed mapping amendment is consistent with the Area D Official Community Plan, the SLRD has waived the holding of a public hearing.
The SLRD Board gave first, second and third reading at the July 22, 2026 SLRD Board meeting. The SLRD Board will be considering adoption of the amendment bylaw at the October 28, 2026 SLRD Board meeting.
