Agricultural Advisory Committees - Call for Volunteers

The SLRD is looking for interested residents to serve on the Agricultural Advisory Committees (AAC) in Electoral Area B or Electoral Area C. Anyone with an interest or expertise in agriculture and related matters is welcome to apply to the committee that represents their electoral area.

Ideal applicants:

• Are land owners and/or permanent residents of Electoral Area B / Lillooet OR Electoral Area C / Pemberton
• Have an interest in preserving the viability of farming in their region
  Are from the farming and ranching community (optional)
• Possess a clear understanding and knowledge of topics affecting agricultural land
• Can commit to roughly 4 to 6 meetings per year (Area C), or 4 day-time meetings per year (Area B) for a one or two-year term
